Mint Phase P. terribilis Large Juveniles

These frogs used to be fairly common in the hobby, but have become somewhat rare now for some reason. An outstanding display frog, probably the boldest dart frog in the hobby. The toxic nature of the wild version of this frog makes them great conversation pieces as well! Of course as with all captive bred dart frogs they are completely non toxic, but in the wild one frog could contain enough poisons to kill several people. Easy to keep in most ways, they are able to eat considerably larger prey than most dart frogs.
The frogs for sale here are a little under one inch, well established juveniles and showing full color.
These frogs were obtained in a trade with a zoo that we do some business with, and not bred here.
