| Imitators are one of the longest kept forms of thumbnail frogs in the hobby, and are always a favorite, especially among those just getting into the hobby! Imitators are a great choice as a first thumbnail frog, due to their bolder nature, and the fact that they are pretty easy to breed. The tadpoles are quite hardy, and the baby frogs they produce are robust little guys that can eat fruit flies right out of the water! Imitators have a nice low call, which wont wake any one up, but can be heard several feet away from the tank. Great little frogs!
