I know, you are probably saying to your self "leaves? What the...?" However, these leaves are one of the most simple and elegant terrarium decorations, in my opinion. We gather leaves from around the country. We select these leaves based on shape and appearance, and most importantly, we select leaves with a heavy sturdy texture, so they last for weeks in your tank.
These leaves do more than just provide a natural look, they also provide hide spots, and as they break down, they will provide food for the arthropod population in the tank.
This product is a selection of the leaves we have in stock. Generally it includes Seagrape leaves, magnolia leaves, along with various other tropical leaves. The one gallon bag of leaves will decorate a medium size tank, such as a twenty or thirty gallon tank, leaving enough left over to replace the leaves when they begin to break down at least once.
