Here are some comments from customers I have shipped dart frogs, geckos and monitors to in the past. Feel free to email any of them to ask for verification that their comments are genuine, and they are still happy that they made their purchase here. |
Sorry for the delay in my response but I've been wrapped up in our Frog exhibit. The leaf frogs look amazing and are displaying very well in our exhibit. They were expertly packed and very healthy, even eating the same day they arrived! I also look forward to ordering some darts from you in the near future. All of the supplies I have ordered from you have been top-notch and I truly appreciate all of the tips you have provided. I would happily recommend you to any institution in need of great quality livestock and supplies. Thanks again Patrick! thanks, Edward Castillo |
I just wanted to thank you for the speedy shipment of fly culturing
material! I just recieved it in a surprisingly short amount of time.
You
are by far the best supplier I've used, always providing excellent
products
and great service. I greatly appreciate everything you've done for me!
You
always answer my questions quickly with detail and because of that, I
was able to save my frogs from a fatal aeromonas breakout and now they are healthier and more active than ever. I definitely havn't encountered any online business as professional and helpful as yours! Sincerely, Ben Fisher |
I just wanted to thank you for your prompt delivery and easy ordering process on the 2 Azureus frogs. They are absolutely gorgeous and you've got yourself a customer for life. I look forward to doing business with you. Thanks, |
I just received frogs, they are alive and doing well. I'm going home in a few minutes to put them in the tank. Thank you for your great customer service and wonderful specimens. I'm totally impressed with everything. Thank you for everything! |
I had some space in my fish room so i was wondering what i could keep at 70 - 80 degrees. I went online and discover that i could keep dart Frogs at this temp.i got a couple books about dart frogs ,read them set up a ten gallon terrarium and contacted the local pet store about ordering fruit flies when he ordered his crickets. so everything was set except i had no frogs. went online and discovered that pat rick might have a pair of Blue Azures, so i called and a couple days later my pair came, the day they came my grandson was here so we opened them up together. The containers were marked with the symbols for male and female . When we put them in the first thing my grandson said was the female was ready she really looked great all round on the sides,so he asked me how soon they will lay eggs i said i would be delighted if they lay eggs in 5 months or so. The first couple days i observed them and it sure looked like the female was ready but the male seemed not interested in her kept running away. On the third morning something told me to look under the hut sure enough there was a clutch of 7 eggs i was elated. so even if these eggs don't make it i have gained great experience in the keeping of these beautiful frogs. |
I would highly recommend getting your frogs from Patrick at www.saurian.net .
His selection of frogs is top of the line. He is personable and
answered my email questions faster than anyone else I have bought frogs
from. When I have bought frogs from other people, they always pushed
the ship date back, but Patrick said he would ship on Monday, and he
did! The frogs were fat and very active when they arrived. I would
highly recommend doing business with Patrick and www.saurian.net . Joshua Willard Thanks again! Josh www.joshsfrogs.com - info on Poison Dart Frogs www.wildriveronline.org (517)223-9490 |
I just thought i'd let you know this...got home from work this afternoon and found three eggs in the film canister of one of the pairs of intermedius I got from you back on 18th of November....I know you said these guys would mature quickly but Im absolutely shocked at this. THanks!!! If i had the cash right now the imitators would be on their way like NOW!! cant wait till spring thank you very much Patrick! Matt |
Hello Patrick, The frogs arrived at 10: 00 a.m. in excellent shape. They are fat, heathly and started eated almost immediately. The colors and pattern are even more striking than in the pictures. They are more yellowish orange than I expected, but nontheless spectacular. I'm also interested in D. tinctorius but need a little more info on set-ups. No hurry, but when you get a spare moment could you give some more info on geting started with these less compatible frogs. I have a spare 30 gallon tank that might be suitable. Visistors at the center are amazed by these little jewels. The director, my boss, gave me one more chance when I bought the auratus from you since the first frogs I bought from another breeder died. Now they are hit . Starting with heathly frogs makes all the difference. So I'm hoping she will let me start another tank. Mark |
I recieved my 4 panamanian D. auratus and my blue and black auratus. The green ones are far more vibrant than any picture or frog I've seen. I was extremely impressed and these frogs and the quality of shipping exceded my expectations. They are all active and eating. I have also found that refrigerating the fruit flies for a couple of minutes makes them extremely easy to deal with, do you think this will interfere with their reproduction? Thanks again! |
Hi Patrick, Please also let me know when the frogs can be shipped. The students have put the tanks together and are ready for the frogs. For us, the sooner, the better. Our PO is for 2 D. azureus and 3 blue D. arautus. Thanks again for your help and I look forward to hearing from you. You are wonderful!! With gratitude, |
Hi Patrick, Thanks again |
The frogs are amazing. All arautus and both azureus ate with in 20 minutes of being put in their new enclosures. They are all so fat and active. Even the blue arautus don't hide. I see them anytime of the day hopping around in the open. This is the fifth time we have ordered from you and once again, we are more than satisfied. I recommend you to everyone. Also, most importantly, THANK YOU for the generosity you have shown to the SFCC Herpetology Club. It is so appreciated. You are the total package Patrick!!! We are loving you down here. More orders soon. Thanks again for everything. Jerry & Jennifer Johnston & The SFCC Herpetology Club |
Patrick-Just a word of thanks for the ‘Bastimentos' pumillio we received from you. The fecals all came up negative and the frogs are very active and feeding enthusiastically on springtails. I was quite impressed with the packaging as well, it is clear to me that you have great respect for the animals you are working with. I've also noticed distinctly different behavior from all three frogs which may be an indication that I have a mixed group. I will be in touch in the near future as we want to increase our groups of azureus and leucomelas at the aquarium. I would also like to add myself to your waiting list for Phelsuma klemmeri. Once again, excellent work. Ned McAllister |
I awoke this am to one of the imis calling! As always, the size and quality of frogs you have sent me has been exceptional. This reinforces yet again why coming back to you for frogs was the right decision. I pat myself on the back. Thanks again. If you get any exceptional frogs in future, keep me in mind. Have a great weekend. Shawn |
Hello Patrick, My name is Jon Duridkc, I bought a pair of adult Azures from you several months back. I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that all the frogs are doing great, I have nothing but respect for the quality of frogs you send out. I am rather exicted to say that my Azures have laid their first eggs, from the first batch of three eggs one was viable and has since hacthed out into a voracious little tadpole. The pair have since laid another batch of three egg two of which are developing nicely. Jus wanted to say thanks again. Jon |
Hello Patrick, I just wanted to let you know how pleased I've been with the three pairs of D. Azureus I purchased from you 8-24-05. Not only are they in great health and growing well, but all three pairs have laid eggs in the six short weeks that I've had them. Given their young ages I couldn't be happier. Thanks again, Dr. Polzin |
Patrick, I just wanted to let you know everything arrived safe and healthy!! I am very impresssed with the size and health of my jeuveniles. My aurautus isnt even shy!! They are all eating. Let me know if at a later date you have any specials! I will do business with you again soon!! Thanks again Emily |
Patrick - The order has arrived everything is OK!! The frogs are very active and look great!! Thank you so much for help as well as your communication. It was excellent doing business with you and I plan be buying from you again. I do have a question. The two zip lock bags included, are those the supplements? And would you recommend me feeding them right now or let them settle in a bit. Again thanks so much!! |
Hi Patrick I left you a voice mail but I also wanted to send you a quick e mail. I would just like to say the sexed pair of Tinct's you sent me are outstanding. Having never seen sub adult tinct's I was amazed at there size, I never realized they were so big. Even my wife was impressed (in fact I haven't seen her that impressed since we moved out to the states from UK and she saw how big the shoe stores were!) The Tinct's seem to have settled well into their new home, they have been eating well and have already explored most areas of their viv. On arrival they didn't seem stressed by the journey at all, which was a relief. How old roughly are the pair you sent me? I know I said on the phone that I would e mail you pictures of my Auratus however I had somewhat of an emergency. One of them had managed to escape through a hole in the mesh lid on my 55 gal, I had recently made a new hood with fans, lights etc and opening it had worn a hole in the mesh that I hadn't noticed. I found the green and black down the back of the unit the tank sits on, I hadn't seen him in over 24 hrs (one reason I have moved away from 55 gal heavily planted vivs). He was like a piece of leather, but still breathing. He is now in a quarantine box but he/she is not eating, shedding his old skin and has lost most of his green coloration. He also doesn't move around much, though he has full movement as on occasion he will get very active, but only briefly. I have added a vitamin powder to the damp kitchen paper in the hope this will absorb into his system, the box is misted daily but to be honest I'm not holding my breath for a full recovery. Have you had any experience with escapees? Can you give me any tips on how improve his recovery (if at all he ever fully recovers)? Anyway, thanks for all the advice you have given me so far, and thanks for the outstanding Tinct's you sent me. Please feel free to use any content of this e mail in your customer testimonials, and hopefully as my experience with these incredible animals grows (and permission off the wife to get more tanks) I will be ordering some of the not so common or hardy species from you in a few years. I certainly wouldn't buy from anybody else now. Many thanks for an outstanding service Steve. |
This is Johnathan Dorlac, I
wanted to e-mail you to say that I was 110% impressed with the order I
recieved. The frogs were awsome, they were definitely more than I
expected. I definitely can not say anything bad about the buisness you
run. I garantee I will be doing buisness with you again. And I will
definitely pass the word about what a great product you sell and a
great person you are to do buisness with. |
I just received frogs, they are alive and doing well. I'm going home in a few minutes to put them in the tank. Thank you for your great customer service and wonderful specimens. I'm totally impressed with everything. Thank you for everything! |
Hi Patrick, Thanks again and I appreciate your good work and service! |
Hi Patrick, You had shipped a pair of azureus and 4 red galacs to me in Montana about 3 months ago. I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know they are doing well. So well that the azureus laid eggs 2 weeks ago and I have one tad from that first batch and now they've laid another six eggs. I'm so excited to see if they can develop into frogs - what kick that would be. The directions on your website have been very helpful. Do azureus usually lay during a season and then take a break? The red galacs are doing well too. It worked really well to keep them in the little shoebox containers until they were bigger. It was so easy for them to get food. It was a bit nerve wracking the first week they were in their terrarium as I was afraid they wouldn't find food. I gave them tons of flies to make sure there were some available everywhere. They seem to be doing great now. A few are so fat they look as if they've eaten a marble. Thanks for sending such healthy frogs and giving good advice your website. Hope you and your family are enjoying summer! Janie Jones |
Hi Patrick! I wanted to write to you to express my thanks for the closest to perfect azureus I have ever seen! The packaging and the care was great, I have never seen frogs so active and alert as these. As soon as they were acclimated to the temperature of their enclosure they began displaying behaviors I had only read about in other books. I have to say you are the real deal, a genuine article among so many. I know this because the care is evident in the frogs themselves, animals of this quality do not happen by accident. Please accept my appreciation and thanks for a job well done Mr. Nabors. Sincerely Yours George. GEORGE BRIER |
Hi, Patrick: Once again, thank you so much for your generosity! A+ for the quality of your frogs and for your customer service. |
Hi Patrick, I gotta tell ya.. I had recently purchased some D. pumilio bastimentos and they were knockout gorgeous, nice fat and healthy I have 2 male wild caught Bastimentos pumilio they look drab in comparison. I purchased my new froglets from you in hopes of getting at least one female.. my males are set up in a huge vivarium calling and challenging each day for the "high" spots with the other pumilio in their tank, literally wrestling, it's quite comical.. I have had plenty of courtship from the others but only the red pumilio has produced on occasion for me. There are six (4.2 I believe) blue jean pumilio that I would only wish they got going.. Anyway I am impressed with your quality of frog, I have been collecting/keeping/breeding dart frogs for 28+ years and was still impressed with your frogs.. Anyone thinking about buying from Patrick, he's a great guy to talk frog to and you WILL get a quality frog.. All the Best, Peter Keane, Curator of Reptiles, Jungle World Peter Keane |
I
just wanted to write a quick thank you for the frogs that you sent to
me at the beginning of the week. So far from what I saw, both of my D.
galactonotus as well as the four D. auratus are well conditioned Fruit
Fly vacuumns that very well may eat me out of house and home, but still
so much better then having animals that won't feed. I am totally
amazed how 6 frogs that small can REALLY EAT THAT MANY FLIES!!!! You
were absolutely correct |
Hi Patrick, I hope to have them as pets for a long time, and will look to you for my next dart frog purchase. Thanks a million, |
Thank You so much for the frogs you sent my husband this week. He has been looking forward to owning dart frogs for years. You you have allowed him to be able to order on-line with confidence. He has been looking at dart frogs for years. Again thank you. Gina Ware |
